In Incan mythology, Mama Kuka was a woman of extraordinary beauty, and no man could resist her. She was sacrificed by her many lovers for her promiscuity, and from her grave an incredible plant sprouted. It gave strength and endurance to those who consumed it, and alleviated pain and suffering. The people called it coca, in honour of that enchanting and alluring woman.

Today it is used to combat altitude sickness, ease pain, and reduce hunger and thirst, and to some it is used to predict the future.

Our Coca room is a place where you can rest and allow your strength and endurance to rejuvenate, while providing you with a comfortable double bed, a private bathroom, and a peaceful corner to sit and view our lush garden, and perhaps read a book or two.
